It’s not THAT bad. It’s slightly overrated. I’d say point break is a worse movie considering the hype it has. Anything with keanu in it people seem to cream over and I don’t know why. ****s.

It's alright, but overrated. Some people act as if it has come deep point to it, which it does not. The idea of a fight club itself is also really stupid.

Agree with most miscers. Good movie, but not as great as people seem to think it is.
The most cringeworthy thing are Tyler Durden fanboy wannabe pick-up-artists, who unirocally try to copy his style and behaviour thinking it'll turn them into a chad without being Brad Pit.

I honestly think the film is only iconic because of Brad's abs.

This. It’s a classic that defined a generation. It was also underrated as Hell when it came out. It actually did horrible in theaters. Srs. Inception is the most overrated movie of all time. That, or those fuking Avengers movies or Black Panther...utter chit.

The Joe Rogan interview with the book author was really good and helped me understand it a bit better

If you didn’t see the movie when it was released, there’s a chance it might not have as much meaning to you.

When that movie was released, it was new and nothing quite like it had been done before. It was edgy. Brad Pitt wasn’t even THAT much of a megastar.

There was a guy on here not long ago complaining he’d just watched Good Will Hunting and “didn’t get the hype”.

Go back to catching Pokémon, kid. Mum will let you know when dinner is ready.

Thinking about when that movie came out its actually pretty good. Useless blue collar nobody has a personality disorder and buys pointless crap to fulfill his pointless life. Seemed right at the time.
