Its unappealing in the modern day to be outwardly religious, so people find something else to believe in to orient their lives.

I had a bish tell me "I don't believe in God" and "I really believe in astrology" in the same sentence.
If you wanna have your beliefs, go for it. But at least recognize wth you're saying or committing yourself intellectually to.
