Never Heard Of Her: Katie Melua

And really never heard of her before this weekend. Don't know if there is any particular reason, but I noticed she dresses feminine/minimal makeup and modest which isn't exactly common for female celebrities.

She's from Belfast, parents are Georgian.

She had a huge hit a few years ago, the opening line was something like "there are 10 million bicycles in Beijing" and some smart arse interviewee try to catch her out on a live interview by saying she was full of chit because there were actually 20million bicycles in Beijing. To which Katie replied "well then there is 10 million, isn't there?". Cue awkward silence...

Forgot all about her.

I was 22 at the time.
