I got a new roommate. he is INDIAN and cooking strong smell food. Wtf do I do?

Needed a roommate asap

Got some indian fob moved in.

He legit is cooking the strong curry smelly food.

How do I politely tell him he shouldn't cook this?

Can I legally do anything about roommate cooking strong smelly food?

I am sitting in my bedroom and the smell is creeping in my room

Or....if you’re the lease holder them technically you can get them removed. I had to go to court to remove a roommate a while back when I was renting.

I am month to month. Didnt sign anything.

I have never even met the landlord. (Foreign investor) super common in vancouver

I'd lawfully declare that "interfering with the reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit".
Contact whoever you pay to evict them as you have been there first. And tell them if they rent to another Indiancel you are moving out and cite my quotes. Look up the laws in your province so you can cite it.
Let them know you can't get any studying done, you can't get any sleep, your appetite is gone and you aren't eating, etc. lol

This seems misguided. Sh~tting in his room will just freshen up the place / make it smell better -- would actually be a very kind thing for you to do. In fact, might want to just leave little sh!ts around the house to help with the smell.
