Where does Chino Moreno rank in terms of vocals?

I never got into Deftones when I was into metal, yet listening to Chino I can't get enough of the vocals. What say you?

he was number 1 for me for a long time then I started listening to heavier stuff so:

1. phil anselmo
2. chino moreno

I actually got to meet him once. flew to amsterdam for a deftones concert with some friends. a day before the concert we're chilling, smoking at some bar and suddenly chino walked past us into a gift show. didnt want to be a fanboy but fukk it. went up t him and asked if he wouldnt mind taking a pic when hes done, he says sure and i went back to my table. a few minutes later we see chino walking around the bar looking for us. talked a few minutes and that was that. good times

His voice is unique and works for the Deftones, but where does his voice rank? Nowhere near the top 100 in all-time rock.

I legit don't know how many times I've seen them live (I can say at least a dozen times in parks around Sacramento back in the Adrenaline days lol), and I've seen Crosses and Team Sleep several times. Only time I was bummed by his performance was around the launch of SNW when chino was in full bloatmax and drugmax modes.

I'll never forget the first time I took my wife to see Chino (Crosses) when we first started dating. I was, and am, totally gay for him, and was building up this insane picture of how amazing he is. Basically setting her up to be let down. I think it took one maybe two songs for her to fully understand the control this man possesses over the crowd. Chicks were legit throwing panties on stage. At one point he's kneeling on the crowd, grabs my wife's hand for support and sang a couple lines at her. I think she was fully prepared to leave me lol.

As for his overall vocals, he is supremely underrated, and it's because his clean vocals are so unique and people may think he's out of key. Not so. This video breaks down an entire song, but he touches on the brilliance of Chino's vocals. Oh, and ofc his screams are just perfect.
