Does this sound right to anybody or did I just dodge a scam?
I had a virgin wireless phone but put my account on suspend to keep my number reserved but to get rid of the bill. I bought a phone online that would work with sprint since virgin now is owned by sprint. So I called to unsuspend my account and to see if they could send me a new sim card because I lost my old phone. The person I talked to was really weird I think they might have been foreign but she didn't have an accent. She said weird stuff like "can I confirm I am speaking to the very handsome and patient customer named ------". And then she wanted me to give her my debit card information to see if they can just send me a sim card. She wouldn't tell me how much it costs, she said she needs the debit card information so she can look up the price. That didn't sound right to me I think she was foreign and gets paid based on how many sales she makes or something and was gonna order a bunch of **** to get the sale without my permission cause she kept trying to sell me a phone too even though I kept saying no I will use a phone I bought. Was she trying to scam me?
