If calling someone "black" is racist, what do you call them in Europe or Canada then?

A lot of weirdos think the word "black" is racist and would prefer to be called African Americans, so how are you suppose to describe them if they live or are from Europe or Canada?

referring to a black individual as 'black' isn't more racist than referring to a white individual as 'white.' The German version of the n-word("neger") was never as much of a slur as in English(maybe it's more accurately translated into negro) and was probably the commonly used word for black people until the early 2000s. While nowadays considered politically incorrect old people and people speaking colloquially still use it quite regularily.

I guess "Schwarz"/"Black" is the word people most commonly use. For some time people used "farbig"/"colored" to be politically correct, but that term is now considered was worse than black. "Afrodetusch"/"Afro German" is often used by more politically correct people. It's common people mess up and call them "Afro-Amerikaner"/"Afro-Americans" though due to movies. Some groups have vouched for "Afrodiasporisch"/"Afro diasporic", but I never heard anyone say this in real life. Historically "Moor"/"Moore" was also quite common and is still used, but rarely.

In the end it's mostly "Schwarz"/"Black".
