Went for a 2 mile jog in 5 degrees fahrenheit and snow, AMA (mirin attire?)
bundled up pretty good with a warm and insulated wind-proof vest, sweater, toque, gloves, thermal leggings. didn't feel the cold at all srs. would rather jog in this weather then be a humid-cel srs. cold air actually felt pretty refreshing and almost therapeutic even. Just jogged around the block and through some woods, rustling of branches kind of scared me because there are coyotes in the area but it was just a wabbit.
anybody on that winter jogmaxxing time?
pic of me tired af lol

2 mile jog.
Burned more calories getting dressed.
I take my dog for a few miles a couple times a week. 100% refreshing to just get outside.

I personally hate how long my body takes to warm up when running in that kinda weather. I feel like I hit the "zone" at the beginning of the second mile, which is too long. I like to run when the weather is between 50 to 25, but not less than that.

I haven't run in a while this year, but I usually run outside down to about 20 degrees. I go for 3 miles or about a 5k 3 days a week if I don't get other cardio. This summer paddle boarding was my cardio and I never transitioned back to running, probably should now.
Anyway below 20 degrees my toes get numb after a while, so that's my cut-off.
