Dear diary,

I don’t know what to think anymore. I feel as if life has become routine. I was once happy with going through the motions but I can’t take it anymore. I was offered a position at my current work place that would give me a 20-30k pay increase but that is not certain. I’ve been obsessing over the promotion because I need a challenge in my life.

Some time has passed since I was approached with position but I don’t feel confident about it. I followed up with admin and they said to give it some time because they are occupied with covid vaccines at this time. Admin stated the position is 99.9% mine but I just hate to think it would be given to someone else.

I’m the type of individual who obsesses over something I want till it’s mine and I want it, bad.

Have you considered killing anyone who might take the position from you?

I've spent my entire life trying to do as little as possible so I can not relate. That being said, the squeeky wheel gets the oil.
