Worked 2 jobs where I was basically the only guy in the office and there were like 12 women. Same thing.

^ that is also the issue, they arent exactly thin. But even in the office with thin women, it was like they couldn't operate without feeling "drained" or "stressed" between meals.

opie coffee runs are even worse. one time i volunteered to make a coffee run for my office and literally all the 50 year old sherry's and sharon's were ordering bullchit complicated coffees like venti triple shot soy latte extra estrogen double foam 2 pumps vanilla syrup it was one of the worst days of my life

There are a group of women in my office who have been perpetually dieting for the past 6 years. A couple years ago when I dropped about 60 lbs in 6 months they all asked me what I did and I told them OMAD and explained it. Of course not a single one tried something that obviously worked and are still drinking their MLM teas and "super shakes" spending money with 0 results. Everybody wants to look good but nobody wants to put in the work or simply have the willpower to fight off hunger for a couple hours

The only other dude in my office is fat. And he seems me getting ready to go to the gym after work and all that. He talks about wanting to lose weight and I dumb it down for him. Then every morning I see him coming in with some high calorie breakfast, going out to eat for lunch, and he keeps candies in a drawer by his desk.

I laugh to myself, because when he asked and we talked he seemed kinda serious. But like you said, noone wants to put in the work. I was just giving him general health/nutrition advice, didnt really even mention the gym.

There are 6 guys in my office including me

1. me - good shape

2. guy my age - his wife is a bikini competitor and he lifts regularly. Sometimes he does go a little too far with his winter bulks but he always brings it back down during summer

3. 60 y/o guy - he does long range cycling competitions so he is in excellent shape and looks a lot younger than he really is

4. 63 y/o guy - not sure if he lifts or anything but he looks to be in really good shape. Probably just does some running and doesn't overeat

5. 50 y/o guy - pretty big but he also was a D1 olineman so very athletic despite the extra weight.

6. another 50 y/o guy - typical dad bod who's wife drags him to crossfit but he eats too much to lose weight from it apparently

That's guys only though. There are about 20 women in my office and only 4 maybe 5 out of 20 aren't overweight

I work a white collar job so only 3 maybe 4 people in the office don't have degrees and they do pretty extensive background checks. No drug screens though

It’s cool working with bros because we crack jokes all day without anyone getting offended. Working with women you have to be careful because you can easily take a trip to HR.

Wouldn't say its a bitch career. I work in substance abuse counseling, but the overwhelming majority of people who specialize in that are women.

I work in the C suite and there is a huge difference between normal mid level office drone females and female executives.

We have about 15 on the executive team, there are 5 males. There is absolutely no gossip, no drama, and the females are absolute killers.

They’re all slender, reasonably attractive but dress conservatively, and seem to have everything in their lives dialed in. Everyone in the office with the exception of our two office managers/admins/business ops girls, have a JD, MBA, or CPA, and in most cases 2 of these, there’s a ton of various graduate degrees and a few PhDs in the mix as well.

Two of the men are in their 50/60’s, the other male is a quant as well and we’re good friends, been working together in some capacity for over a decade, so we bro out a little bit but there’s some professional distance.

Tbh it’s the healthiest work environment I’ve been in.

I’ve had issues with other males, in one case a guy had his wife come in when we were working over the weekend, she brought in food for both of us and I was trying to be as politely brief with her as possible, but she was obnoxiously being incredibly friendly with me, as in asking how much I workout, feeling my arms, etc. Also I’ve gotten the vibe on a few occasions over the years that there’s a lot of shade towards me from other males in my field that chose to get their PhDs and earn the same amount as me, or less. I’ve never gotten that vibe from any of the women that work directly in my area. That being said I get along tremendously well with the males I work with now.

There is a dynamic where being younger, attractive, and athletic that I wouldn’t say there’s any direct flirting, more that the women in the office treat me kind of like my mom’s friends that are close to the family? Idk how to explain it exactly.

On the flip side, early in my career we didn’t have enough offices in my division so they stuck me in an office group with a bunch of mid level number crunchers (primarily auditors, budget managers, accountants) and holy fukk it was mind blowing how terribly awful most of these people’s lives are and how trivial their problems are. This office was also a majority of women. These women however were generally overweight, dressed borderline unprofessionally, either due to slovenliness or tons of makeup and suggestive clothing. They constantly bished about how much debt they were in, about their husbands, about their kids, brb someone brings Krispy cream donuts in and every fukking female has to make an ordeal out of the fact they’re allegedly on a diet and how they’re just having half of one, brb my office was right next to the coffee machine etc, and I’d see those same dirty chubby hamsters running in and out throughout the morning eating 4-5 donuts each.

I briefly had a fling with a girl from another department who had sent herself shirtless selfies off of my phone (srs) and then forwarded them to other women including my department. That week we were getting ready to go to the holiday party and one of the women offered to give me a ride if I took my shirt off for the entire trip. I wasn’t offended, and didn’t feel harassed, but I can’t imagine the HR nightmare if the tables had been flipped. Women would workout on lunch and wear their yoga/workout clothes the rest of the afternoon (keep in mind it was a suit and tie environment) one lady in particular would vape in meetings and walk barefoot around the office.

Working with women isn’t an issue, it’s working with women that suck that’s an issue. It’s ridiculous how peasants live when you see them up close in their natural habitat.
