The fact that people use smartphones is #1 reason I lost faith in humanity
I can not believe that people are such sheep that they submit to being tracked constantly. I've never owned a smartphone, never will.
I honestly had no idea that humans were so stupid until smartphones became mainstream. How do you people tolerate this constant tracking?.... WHY do you just go about your day as if it's fine?
You are being tracked by your government CONSTANTLY. They literally lock people up for thinking the government is tracking them.... they call it schizophrenia.... but it's ACTUALLY REAL!
I've literally had people laugh at my phone, I use a Nokia. Trying to explain why I don't use a smartphone to people is like a scene from Idiocracy. Gee, why don't I want to be constantly tracked by the government.... Um... WTF?? I wish I was the crazy one, but its society, you have all lost your minds!

Aside from the constant tracking, smartphones make social media instantaneously available which, IMHO, causes 2 major problems with people:
1) Causing a decline in basic social skills, manners and social courtesy because people don't know how to interact with each other in person anymore
2) Causes dopamine addiction through validation in the form of Likes on Instagram. A withdrawal from dopamine usually causes depression.
People are more connected than ever, and yet loneliness and depression are everywhere in today's world. And men are disproportionately experiencing depression moreso than women these days.
I recall as a teen in the 90s that whenever we spoke of depression in school or in church groups that it was often women who were experiencing depression, now it's mainly men who are experiencing depression.

Everything I post is satire.
