Long story short


Good buddy of mine is coming back to visit for holidays from grad school


Plan was to get together with few other friends (including my brother) to play poker


My brother is currently in Las Vegas for the weekend getting yucky and gambling etc



My ******* buddy is requesting my brother get a COVID test prior to us getting together to play poker (ded fkn Srs)

(He is referring to him as ‘bug’ because his nickname is Buck)

Is this reasonable?

Technically he should not visit his grandfather by his own logic. Also somehow the logic that covid is only transmittable in Vegas and not the enclosed plane ride he'll be in, or waiting in line at Costco is kind of stupid.

Even with a negative test he can still get it and pass it to his grandfather. The key is not to visit his grandfather. And if he chooses to be with his grandfather then he needs to not socialize.
