[SRS] Give some life advise take some life advise thread

Guys, it's near the end of 2020 and there's a ton of people here all from different backgrounds, we should be sharing life advise with each other all the time so we can all get better.

This is what I want to do:

1) Post a random piece of advise you've learned that you think is entirely valid
2) Post a general topic you want to get advise on [E.G. ladies, money, cars etc]
3) Reply to someone and answer their topic with a piece of knowledge you've learned

I'll go first:

If you loan someone money, never expect to get it back but if you do and someone doesn't pay you back without hounding them for it then they aren't worth keeping around.

I want to hear stuff on keeping a calm mind.

Hard-earned money is better for your soul than free/easy handouts.
Thus let me live, unseen, unknown;
Thus unlamented let me die;
Steal from the world, and not a stone
Tell where I lie.

A lot of truth is said in jest

Worth getting a six pack?
brb haven’t met one vaxcel who doesn’t get defensive or mad when you tell them you didn’t get it.

No “vax” for HIV after 40 years of research. No vax for cancer after 100 years of research. No vax for the common cold and yet a virus mysteriously appears and Within 12 months a “vax” is found by 4 pharma companies all within 1 week and we are mandated to take it ….

Most problems can be solved if you throw enough money at it.

If you have the internal desire to do something that you can stop thinking about it, you will do it no matter how long it takes. Also realize you will have setbacks and days you don't enjoy it. It's okay to fail or quit something it's part of life. Do what you truly enjoy and what makes you successful and gives you joy and peace of mind. After all we are after happiness, peace of mind, and love. Also realize those three things are emotions and you won't feel those everyday and it comes and goes. Accept that its okay to feel bad sometimes everyone feels every emotion we have different ways of handling it and expressing it.
