Preppers of the misc

You prepping harder now?

I've got an eclectic assortment of prep materials. I'm going to use my Trumpbux to get more food, ammo, and precious metals.

I also have access to 120 acres of farmable land, with about 30-40 acres of it creek front. We all gon' make it.

Got two bear, two deer, and a chit ton of fish, grouse, ducks, etc in three freezers. Several buckets of dehydrated wild mushrooms stocked too.

Heck, I'll start eating the beaver I catch if chit hits the fan.

Wife keeps a solid pantry, and my cabin off in the woods is stocked.

Honestly, tillable land is probably the most valuable asset you can have.

Emp and the grid went down, I'm good as off grid for my house and cabin in the bush, but my freezers are in my shop, so I'd immediately fire up the shop wood stove and start making jerky out of all my meat.

I'm trying to design a diet around vegetarian foods unfortunately, and on top of that, foods that don't need much cooking.
The extent of my meats will be canned chicken and fish (gross).

Lord hammercy that sounds disgusting lol. In an emergency, though, I'd eat the south end of a north bound mule.

It’s business as usual. Store what you eat, eat what you store. As we use product we replace it while having a nice buffer in between. Somehow we always seem to buy TP right before a hoarding phase breaks out lol.

Us too. When the stores ran out of TP in March or whenever, we had just gone to Sam's to get a big pack of it. It lasted us like a month and a half or something. After that happened, we picked some up every other time we went to the store and now have about 100 rolls in reserve.

We had done our usual once a month Costco run a week before the pandemic hit. We get TP once every 3-4 months for our family. It was amazing how many people we knew didn’t keep anything extra on hand for emergencies. Including my parents lol. I was able to ship them a care package so they could also take some TP to my 102 year old grandma. Second time around I even told my mom, it’s going to happen again. Have a little extra. Next thing I know, “I need some rice do you have any?”, yes ma. I do lolz. It doesn’t take much to build it up. Every week get a few cans here n their. Maybe throw in an extra rice. We’ve been building it up over the last few years. One thing I’d like to have is a deep freezer in the garage. That would be handy to have.
