Hope Ya'll Are Having a Solid Day

Sitting at my desk in my room, all my stuff for the week is done. Two clients called today, but other than that I have finally finished the busy season for renewals 1/1. Tomorrow I start work at 11AM and leave at 3PM. Then off for Christmas. Gonna see family and fly up to NY.

Parents just left from an early Christmas - my sis has the 'rona so they couldn't fly down but at least I got to see mom and pop.

Seeing wife's side of the family the day of - cooking a huge breakfast with coffee and mimosas to watch the kids play with their toys.

I've had a cold for weeks now and am running off sudafed fumes at this point. Gotta make it till 4 o'clock and am gonna be working my ass off until then to get everything done since this is my last day til 1/4. Not gonna be miscing much over the holidays so you guys stay safe and I'll see you when I have time to kill at work next year lol

My older brother and his gf, who I have barely seen all year, just drove 4 hours to my parents' house where we were all going to be having Christmas together. Just before they arrived their friend who they'd seen on Monday messaged saying he had symptoms and a positive test so they just swapped presents and went straight back home. Fukin sucks.

Still, going to try to make the best of it. Enjoy your Christmas.

I made a very big batch of an oat milk and cashew-based "eggnog "but I've been day drinking with Brandy while doing tons of cooking the last few days, it's pretty great, plus my favorite strippers name was Brandy so it puts me in a good mood

Merry Xmas brah. Russian Christmas is celebrated in January because they still use the Julian Calendar for religious holidays.

That means I'll be working for half the day and cutting out early (because WFH) tomorrow and Friday.

Gonna call it a cultural celebration and demand that the Russian government apologize for oppressing our people by not celebrating our holidays actively enough. They really just need more diversity.
