What would you consider a healthy job market if just looking at job postings?

For examples obviously if a location only has around 1 job every 7 days. That's pretty bad.

Can misc help throw some ideas?

You can’t look at job postings only.

Almost all jobs are already filled before posting. There are various reasons why jobs are posted and looking for applications is not one of them.

Talking only high paying jobs.

The best market is when employers/recruiters are contacting you unsolicited. You can get multiple offers and choose the best option.

Very true, that's why I'm trying to get a better idea or method.

Unfortunately, I am using Job postings as a way to figure out whether jobs existed within the past 7 days. It seems low end OK, but I'm 100% sure there are better ways.
Just not sure what exactly.

The recruiters I get all offer chit jobs. Not sure if that's because I'm in San Diego?

All I get are Robert-Half, Randstad, and other random ones emailing me for way less than I make now, but require more experience.

Lol I get contacted for bookkeeping at $15 an hour requiring 3 years exp in all this irrelevant crap.

Do you not have good experience? I'm a CPA working at the Big 4 and am constantly shown positions that are at worst a lateral move comp-wise with better WLB (I'm looking in SoCal too - PS: SoCal pay is **** compared to other large, finance markets). I'm in the final stages now with a consulting firm that would end up being a minimum 50% raise, plus additional, discretionary bonus. The jobs are out there, you just gotta demonstrate your worth because it's 10x harder in this market.
