ITT: I explain how a shrink ray would work
(In this post, I explain how shrink rays work, Misc engineers, please find any possible flaws and let me know.)
Neutrino Dissimilation theory involves generating five separate dimensional fields.
Alpha dimensional field the same size as the object or person being miniaturized opens up in dimension alpha.
Beta dimensional field opens in center of each quark and gluon particle by detecting the gravitational signature of those particles. The dimensional hole appears in the center of each quark and gluon particle composing the protons and neutrons of the atoms of the person being miniaturized, pulling matter in the form of neutrinos into dimension field alpha.
Gamma dimensional field alters the charge of the electrons within that field, so the strength of charge of the electrons matches the decreasing strength of charge of the protons of the shrinking quarks and gluons. Electrons entering this field have their charge diminished, and electrons departing the field have their charge restored to normal. This field must be maintained as long as the person or object remains miniaturized.
Delta dimensional field forces shrinking atoms to maintain proportional distance apart from one another. The distance between atoms decreases in a uniform manner.
Epsilon dimensional field increases the thermal resistance of each miniaturized atom by increasing the vibrations of the atoms, making them retain more heat so shrunken people don’t freeze to death. This field must be maintained for as long as the person or object remains miniaturized.

Epsilon field increasing the vibrations of atoms seems like it would directly increase the kinetic energy (temperature) of those atoms unless I’m missing something

Yeah, I’ve got that part covered in my theory. If someone shrinks, the epsilon dimensional field causes the vibrations of their atoms to increase, so they don’t freeze; if the person grows, the vibrations slow down so they don’t overheat.Amateur Comic Book Artist.
