Do youtubers appeal only to the low IQ (General population)?

Anytime I see a video it's just some stupid talentless person doing some stupid challenge which gets a bunch of views.

Ever since the Internet merged into real life you get a bunch of amateurs suddenly becoming famous to the general population. The world is a weird place.

Depends, if you watch channels like Kings and Generals or RealLifeLore there's hours of interesting content out there that doesn't seem to appeal to the simple minded folks.

It gets worse, I know parents who get hooked on it after their kids watch it, then watch it if their own free will.

Bro that’s just the surface tho think about the cool **** that’s out there’s a lot! don’t focus on the dumb stuff yeah you can get famous and popular like those dummies but there’s stuff that thought provoking and smart out there even on YouTube

I probably spend less than an hour a month on youtube. It’s an absolute ****fest of douchebaggery and shills.

Unfortunately, it’s the only place I can look at pre 2012 songs.
