Think of it like the music industry. On Spotify/streaming sites anyone can upload music (it's not difficult) so the majority of music on there is by indie musicians who make around $20 per year on the site. I can't remember the exact figures but it's something like that. Then you have people like Eminem and Rihanna who will dominate streaming.

P0rn is kind of like that. These people doing amateur stuff are basically hoping to make it big. Some will earn good money if they do it correctly and have a certain image/niche but generally it's super difficult for the average person.
