How long to feel the ‘benefits’ of no caffeine

Thinking of taking 3 months off caffeine or stims after the new year to see if the grass is greener like some claim.

As far as caffeine, I tend to have 600mg-1600mg a day. No side effects for me besides some facial twitching above 1200mg. I do get some nasty sides from stronger stims tho.

I time my caffeine intake so I crash around bedtime. That along with my sleep supplements mean I get 8-9 hours every night. Feel like I’m on a limitless pill with my current regimine, but how long of a break do I need to potentially prove me wrong?

This. How the fukk do you even sleep?

Quitting is overrated. I didn't consume caffeine for 90 days, and now back on it. However I won't go past 400-500mg a day now.

1600 mg lmaooooo those headaches are gonna be legendary.

I actually quit caffeine 8 days ago and don't feel any difference (normally did 2 cups/day). Withdrawals weren't too bad just some headaches.

I think genetics have a lot to do with quitting/withdrawal. I'm the same i don't get headaches or anything. Some people have it bad tho.

Good Lord man, that is a ton of caffeine lol. Everybody is different, you might not feel the same as somebody else who quits caffeine. Just like supplements, everybody reacts differently. You might not feel the benefits for a while, or you might feel them right away. My guess is you will feel miserable for a while and hop back on dat der caffeine train, but props to you for considering going cold turkey on it.

^What he/she said. Why not do a slow fade and take this gradually? Going cold turkey might not be the best approach.

I've been no caffeine for 5 days now.

First day = massive headache, second day = minor headache, since then = no different

Feeling a bit more tired than usual but this could also be a function of being off for the holidays and eating alot

I'm going to give it 2 weeks

My current pre has 700mg a serving (hooligan by Appolon), I usually have a nitro cold brew daily when going to the office, then a few cups of coffee in the pm.

Strangely enough I don’t get bad caffeine headaches when I quit cold turkey. I take an aspirin and I’m Gucci

I felt bad (headaches, low energy, drowsy) for about three days and then I felt fine but I also only consumed around 300mg a day. I'm interested in hearing your withdrawal symptoms with 1600mg a day..lol.

One thing I hate is every single time I give up caffeine my lifts take a plummet and my gains disappear. I’m a lifetime natty and stims helped me gain about ~12-14 more lbs after I was at my genetic max for years. I tracked this as carefully as I could.

Those are laughable gains to those on dat dere, but combine that muscle with the lower bf% that stims give you and it’s night and day for my physique. Literally 25% more muscle above my natty limit with a lower bf%
