Back hurts/rounds when doing heavier curls?

So I’m finally curling the 60lb ez bar at planet fitty. It’s the heaviest they got.

But my back starts to hurt and I start to round it. Should I start wearing a bodybuilding belt or something? Widening my stance helps but is this just a sign of a weak back or should I stick to the 50 ez curl?

Like how long did it take you to go from 50 to 60 curl?

If you’re finding it’s fukin up your form and positioning it’s more than likely too heavy and I would suggest dropping down, you’re only going to cause yourself an injury. If you want to stick at that weight then just find the best positioning for it. I’ve always been taught wider stance and keep your chest puffed out. I try to keep this but if the weights too heavy and I find myself swinging it around I’ll drop weight accordingly.
