I discovered this a few days ago and i´m already investing some money on it, because if the developers can pull it off, it could be just HUGE in the near future. The idea is to basically recreate the whole world for an open world videogame, phase 1 is to divide all the world in 10x10m tiles, starting price 0,10$, and the price will raise based on demand.

Don´t know if they will pull it off and make the biggest game ever, GTA+The Sims+Minecraft+social media+web advertising+tinder/meetic, etc, or if they will run away with the money, but thing is growing like crazy these days, a tile in USA is +16$ now (from an starting price of 0,10$), you can also collect taxes if you have class 1 tiles.

I admit i´m getting addicted to this chit lol, there´s still a lot of cheap property to buy and everything is growing nicely, there´s also a market to sell property if you just wanna make a quick buck.

Yesterday the development team did a stream on twitch to answer people´s questions and to talk about the present and future of this thing, which you wouldn´t do if you plan to run away with the money. Dillon Seo is there and he was on Oculus from the start, and that thing was sold to ******** for like 2 billions a few years ago.

Quick update, still into this thing, the 1st world is starting to get really expensive, all people is buying in Africa countries now, and tiny islands, USA reached the 600k tiles sold and now sits at 40$ a tile, if you look the OP from 27th december, it was 16$ that day.

I also started getting delayed tax income from my class 1 and 2 properties, which are limited to the first 100k tiles (class 1) and from 100k to 200k tiles (class 2) in each country and there are less left every day. There´s still a class 3 from 200k to 600k tiles, which still generates a bit of income tax, class 4 (USA is the first country to reach that number) doesn´t generate anything, aside from resources in a future stage of the game (phase 2, which is supposed to be announced shortly).

Lately i don´t buy much anymore, and if i do is with the income from taxes and referrals, but i will try to get class 2 tiles if there are interesting projects. Still some countries at 30 cents per tile, class 2.

By interesting projects i mean cities the people are planning, getting tiles there, there are some crazy projects going on that if the game comes to life, there would be really cool cities, like Oasis in Chad

Each little square is a 10x10 meters piece of land in Earth 2.

Haven´t tried withdrawals yet, but a lot of people have with no problem, just a bit slow yet because there´s no automatic process, you have to send a mail and your request is made by the team, if i keep getting a bit of money everyday i will try maybe next month and will update.
