Hm... tbh I see the forum as a whole possibly not making it this decade. Censorship aside, the fact that this forum is significantly dated, and the direction that bb.com wants to go, it would make sense that we could see the forum go even further down the wayside or possibly phased out. Especially since their premium account service is what they want to push more, which is tied to their social media portion of the site.

Just checking out what is used more on the forum is this section and a lot of the accounts tied to it are either trolls, sockpuppet accounts, or people who don't use the main site other than just to post in this category of the forum. On a business perspective it is a potential PR nightmare just waiting to go off (again since it has happened before).

Back to censorship, yeah I could see the misc grow a little with an increasing internet censorship. I don't think by much because the forum is honestly a niche place. Like if I never started working out or used this site I probably would have never knew of misc. Not all of the posts are bad and I get a good chuckle occasionally. But, if censorship continues to be pushed and we go the route of some countries which is what some of our wonderful congressmen are pushing then we could definitely see this site be heavily affected.

I'm honestly shocked this site didn't get hit hard by COPPA regulations.

The leftist tech ****s are working hard to make it so that they can track exactly who is behind any post you make so they can "expose" you for daring to speak your mind. Soon you won't be able to say anything anywhere in the web in general. This won't expose the hard core criminals, but that isn't the idea. The real bad guys will continue to operate on the dark web unobstructed. The idea is to keep honest people honest and make sure those who walk the line don't stray off.
