Way too many access denied errors

This was a problem on these forums awhile ago, I thought it got fixed. Now, whenever I try to post a quality reply more than a few sentences, it gives me the stupid error message (again).

We are using vBulletin, which is IMO the obvious superior forum experience, but it's been around for literally decades. Why is this a problem still?

Obviously BB.com revenue isn't as good as it once was, but that's no excuse. There's plenty of money to be made in forums and if BB.com CEOs are unwilling to buy out the misc and save it from the recycle bin, I'll do it myself. But this type of customer service (I still buy stuff from here if it makes sense) is ridiculous in 2020.

Yes it's ridiculous. I feel like the owners have just made their money and given up, which is why buying the misc aside from bb.com would be 100% worth it. The misc is dying, but far from dead. Kinda like a young 20's guy who get's cancer. You just need someone who believes in it to keep it alive. But if you already admit defeat you're fuked.

This is still probably a top 3 vBulletin forum online. For whatever that is worth.

My favorite is when you get edit errors and access denied so you can't change a post.

For any long post I have to copy because I don't even trust it to go through properly anymore.

It shouldn't happen when you're just using the built in quote features though... but good to know.
That seems to be the most common case where it happens. Specifically, if you are quoting someone's post with parentheses, something seems to break. Seen it before in math threads.

Thats what I do. Did a long post one day hit the button and I got the access denied white screen . Lesson learned.
Used a text editor for longer chit for there on in.
