Have you made New Years Resolutions yet?
If not why not?
If so what are they?
Mine are:
1. Ask out the cute smiling girl at the local grocery.
2. Clean things more often.
3. Work harder on my hobbies.
4. Cook more often.
5. Maintain my plants better.
Etc. Etc.

Not really. It's kinda hard to do it when everything is up in the air from all the politics involving COVID
3 things I can think of:
1. Get rid of a lot of chit in my house that I dont use
2. Figure out a way to move to a different state.
3. Get to 700 lbs ripped

I really don't believe in "new year's resolutions." My view is that, if you want to do or achieve something, do it now. There's no time like the present.
*Look at reflection in car window and flex every time crew*
*Use half the roll to wipe after a poo crew*
*Fart in the gym and blame rotten smell on faulty ventilation crew*
*Fart at home and blame it on the dog crew*
*Watch neutron-star density poop mock me as water flushes around it and it stays put crew*
*Drive 2 minutes in the summer and back of shirt gets completely wet crew*
*Coffee black as midnight on a moonless night crew*
*Fat shame my cat on a daily basis crew*

However with the new year nearly here it's an especially good time for some people to re-examine their priorities and make important course corrections.
Not everyone has their chit in order so sometimes it's good to jump start it at this time of year.

Resolutions are just goals, so the list of goals evolves but is always present.
As another said, covid has so many things in limbo that some planning is difficult to do at this time.

You reminded me to bump my thread of "new decade resolutions."
Things there should apply here, at 1/10th of the ease!
1) Only drink alcohol on special occasions or holidays. Not on random days to pass the time. Maybe on things like New Years', Valentines, Birthdays, Christmas, Super Bowl, Promotion, etc.
2) No Tobacco.
3) Stay debt free.
4) Track Macros daily.
5) Consistent 5+ days/week of working out, but also do 3 sets of pushups and 3 sets of sit-ups every day as well.
Bonus #1: No more restaurants except for celebrations
Bonus #2: No more diet soda

Yes but not because of New Years, that is just happenstance timing.
My entire goal now is simply getting sober. I will also begin my journey to getting back into shape but focusing on sobriety first. That is currently day to day and in the evening, an hourly struggle. I will be looking to get back in shape too for sure. This year is all about renewing my lifestyle dedicated to health and wellness, physically and mentally.

1. Cut my drinking in half
2. Consistent weights workouts, bump bike/stairs/cardio to 4/week (blood pressure, cholesterol), which should help lead to-
3. Lose to 175 or what works out to 10% or very close bodyfat
4. Read through the Bible in 6 months (using my church's schedule for motivation and accountability)
5. Maintain a prayer journal that I've been meaning to keep literally since 'War Room' came out

That's the solution to most machining problems, just hit it with a dead blow hammer.
