Ask a guy getting 2400 from the government stimulus bill that makes 350k a year

Myself, wife, and two little kids all get 600 each (we file jointly). I started a new high paying wall street job in jan 2019, and my bonus didnt hit my bank account until early 2020. Thus my base (which was below the income threshhold for couples) only counted for the coronovirus stimulus money (2019 income). I make about 100% of my base in bonus annually.

Getting my second 150k+ bonus in the coming weeks (for 2020 income).

Strong government we have here. What should i buy with this money?

350k that’s it? That’s poverty income. You should be making at least 8 figures before you start flexing

In the first stimulus I delayed filing taxes because I was a student most of 2018 and if you hadn’t filed 2019 yet it counted 2018 income which was negligible for me because I only worked a couple months in 2018.

I make > $200k base and didn’t need it, but you’d be a fool to not take what you are entitled to. Uncle Sam already cucks me with $6k+ of taxes a month even after a maxed 401k.

Huge if true

I thought it was some type of advanced tax credit that would be adjusted based on 2020 AGI

As long as you qualify - DAssit.

Know someone who qualified for PPP and did not take it. Close to $70k.

If I made 150k base in 2019, and my bonus hit January of 2020, my 2019 income is 150k. With a wife and 2 kids I qualify for the stimulus as the max is 175k for a couple. Wife is stay at home mom.

"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

What exactly do you do in investment banking to be making over 50k a year, brah. Because I can't think of a dayum thing to justify the pay.
