Is Donald Trump the embodiment of being based?

Literally just went into politics and won people with his absolutely based behaviour saying whatever is on his mind without caring whether some stuff might be labelled extreme.

Went on from no political background to the highest position you can strive to achieve in the USA, and in the world by that definition. Not local, not Senate etc directly there.

I think he played everyone tbh. He was a democrat, donated to Democrats & openly said if he ran he would run as a Republican probably because this edgy border line white power act is the easiest way to shill to disenfranchised voters.

He made so many promises & so little was done, albeit more than others.

The first two years the house and senate was Republican.

I agree the media did him no favors, but stoking the flames of a "us vs them" mentality is ridiculous when you're a president.

In retrospect, how he over promised and under-delivered is in line with business dealings before that.

Republicans were sick of the establishment losers (McCain and Romney), and Trump talked a great game. I remember in 2016 in the primaries, Trump looked the best to beat Hillary. #1 skill Trump has is being genuinely funny. That can't be taught or learned. You have it or you don't. Candidate Trump was also perfectly conservative. President Trump stunk tho, blew up the debt, didn't get any 2nd amendment stuff done (other than banning bumpstocks), bogged down in political fights and investigations, plus he chose terrible people again and again. But he's the only guy out of all the Republicans who can go toe to toe with anyone in the world and leave the audience laughing and knowing he beat up the other guy (which I love about Trump).

They, Reps and Dems, hate him...not because of what he said or his policies. But because he isn't one of them...a politican. That's what a lot of folks like about Trump. He didnt spend his entire career in politics anf make millions in politics unlike our soon to be nee POTUS.

You got people spending 50 and 60 years in politcal office. If the gov't was ran like a business every politcan would have been forced to take an early retirement package for the betterment of thr Company.

I mean that is awesome but seems more in line with what you'd want out of a Jon Stewart than a President.

I like Trump, but if you want someone actually based it's John McAfee. The man's a character:

Imagine the collective butthurt if he was president.
