Whats a good way to fake call in sick in the covid age
- feel like calling in sick tmrw , office govt job that Is WFH ( work from home) these days
- its a 9 to 5
- i don't call in that much but def here and there because sick time is use it or lose it ( and no i don't drain it completely def nothing more than a single day per month at most )
- i know a couple work buddies who drain it completely without consequence , but I guess they might be better workers lol
- job is quite generous with sick time credits that accumulate
- way you call in is you call a number in the morning and leave a msg on machine and then supervisor will listen
I usually keep it real simple and just say " I'm sick and can't work today " without getting into some specific bs reason
But what's a good way to say it without making it sound covid related or fake haha
Thanks!

Say you have a fever. Honestly, when it comes down to it, unless you work in a hospital or something, you boss isn't a doctor and you aren't obligated to discuss it. You don't feel well, and you need to call in sick. They even question it or tell you to come in, they are playing a game that could get them sued hard core.
There is a store near me that the managers were "tired of everyone abusing the situation" calling in sick, reinstated their points system, and even took people temps and told them if they didn't have a qualifying fever had to work, and if it was high they had to go take a covid test, but any other reason it would count against them, Some girl that worked there was sick and they didn't folow policy and take her temp, but told her to just keep working. Turned out she had it, and ended up giving it to other employees, and now they are hunting down customers that were in contact with her. Store was retarded and tried to push the blame on her but it backfired hard core when printed documents came out showing their new policies and all the other employees confirmed her story. So now some Attorneys are all over it like flies on horse chit.
