I make DIY weights but my surface area is limited. So my plan is to put buckets on the floor, under the ''table''. Then put another load of buckets on top of them.
Doubling my production rate within the same space.

I'm thinking of buying cheap wooden beams, then use 3 beams across and put the buckets on that.
Or put 4 beams as in 2x2 so that the buckets fit on nearly.
i need to put 4 buckets on them.

I need to make a small 4 by 4 feet table. That's 15 inches high.
How do i make it as cheap as possible and as strong as possible?
How do i make the legs strong so that they are stable and won't fall over?

I thought of buying a large flat piece of wood as the table top, but i don't know if it's strong enough to handle 220 lbs.

The cheapest option is to buy a used table. srs. the price of lumber has nearly doubled for some stuff since this pandemic hit, I just shelled out 3 grand on plywood today.

go to your local building supply yard. a lot of them have extra pallets and give away for free. that can be your top 4x4 part. For legs they probably have scrap wood as well. then cut to size (they might even do that too for free) and nail on.

Just buy a work table...

I would brace it diagonally as well to stop it swaying. Either one beam from top to bottom, or two beams meeting in the middle like this



Edit: if you want something more portable get two sawhorses (decent ones not the cheapest) and lay the benchtop on top of them. (18-22mm ply would be good for this, its flooring grade) This will be more stable as each sawhorse has 4 legs, and are usually rated for the kind of load you are using

Buy some monsters and lure a local tradie over to build it for you
