"One of the sources said the IRS used old information for millions of accounts that are thought to be closed or inactive. Banks are working with the IRS to return and re-route the rejected payments to the correct accounts, but it is not clear how long this process will take, the person said."

Did some basic calcs, the short version is that if you are a taxpayer you just went in debt $40,000 via national debt and got $1800 in return.

Think this has to do with pass-through accounts entities like TurboTax use then forward to your bank account. It creates a degree of separation from the IRS. Guess they sent money to the pass-through accounts again instead of to the end user account

lol literally just checked my account after seeing this post -- looks like I got some money even though my last year's AIG was above the cap (no e-brag). The money is still small enough to be absolutely pointless, but will not give that chit back, fukk off, it should have not been given to anyone with an AIG above 30k, chit is retarded.
