How do you brahs prevent the windshield from fogging? (srs)

Since winter hit my windshield keeps fogging up really bad in the interior. I tried driving with the windows down and/or having the defroster blasting with the heat turned all the way up. However it's not working and driving me crazy. I have never had this kind of issue with any car I have ever drove. Any advice?

I'm literally whipping down the windshield with a microfiber towel just so I can see, in order to be able to drive at night. Helps temporarily, until it fogs again.

Set your heat on a few minutes before you get in, or buy some anti fog spray.

Are you sure you dont have a problem with you a/c? As soon as the air gets hot enough it should prevent mist forming.

Not that i'm aware of, and I just had services done a month ago. Have no issues with the actual climate in the car.

Use an Anti-Fog Spray or a glass coating

OR

If the defroster isn’t taking care of it, and you need to wipe the INSIDE of the windshield...you don’t have a proper seal all around.

Get some Windex or something and a cloth and clean the inside of the windshield, do this once a month or so. especially good if you can find a glass cleaner that says "Anti-fog" or something. when you start the car up in the morning, defroster on full heat, medium intensity. you should be good to go. and quit mouth breathing you slob

Have you checked your windshield fluid lately? Could be leaking. Your window should always have a very thin coat of lube that prevents it from fogging up. This has been around since the 60s

Make sure you don't have recirculating air on either. You could try keeping kitty litter in the car if it's really bad to help absorb the moisture, or anything with Silica. Runnin the AC can also help remove moisture ironically.

The ac has to be running/working to remove moisture. You most likely have a small leak around your windshield allowing moisture into the car.

Dont use coatings and chit, that chit will just grime up your glass even more from all the breath and dust. Just get a nice alcohol based cleaner and really polish your window.

Only time I have ever had an issue with excessive condensation was when the sunroof seal went and the carpet was super wet.

The extra moisture condensed badly, but even the the defrost on high would always dry it.

If you have a wet interior, the frost or condensation will be on the inside, and it will form overnight.

That's about the only thing that would make it moist enough inside to do that

Came in to post this.

One time I drove home by myself at like 2am in below 20 degree weather while my windshield light was on. Probably caused some damage to my windshield but I had no choice but to drive anyway. Check all fluids op!
