Bodyweight bench for reps - 195 lb. for 29 reps
Weighed in at 191, but had to do the next increment up. Kind of annoying cause I probably would've hit a nice round 30 reps at 190. Also weighed in mid-day which sucked cause I know I'm sub 190 in the morning.
Was a little bench competition as part of an open house at a new gym. There were also powerlifting, strongman, and BB'ing seminars. Winner of the bench comp got $100 so I thought I'd give it a try.
32 was the number to beat when I went, but 2 guys after me a dude weighed in at 215 and hit it for 40 reps (wtf).
Speaking of, the gym is called Madhouse, in Mableton, GA. It is the most well equipped gym I've ever seen. There are literally 250-300 different machines there, plus everything you would ever need for any lift. Myriad power racks, benches, deadlift platforms, dumbbells that range from 2 lb. to 220 lb. each, all sort of calisthenics and plyometric equipment, kegs, atlas stones, monolifts.... dude they have everything. I did a rock wall treadmill. They also have a rope pull treadmill. Every machine to hit every muscle from every angle, ded srs.
$35/month, btw.
