Had to put down my cat today...

Feels terrible brahs. He wasn’t even two years old. For the past 2-3 weeks he’d been eating and drinking less and was not interested in playing. Took him to the vet, bloodwork showed signs of an infection. Vet was worried for an abdominal infection such as from a bowel perforation. Decided to go for surgery since he was so young. Turns out it was metastatic cancer.

Fuark brahs, loved that little phukker. House feels quite empty now.

Get him cremated and get a paw print if you can, I still keep my childhood cat's ashes and prints. Sucks to lose them but you always got memories and can know you gave him a good life

fuarkkk i am truly sorry brah. it isn't fair but he was sick and wasn't going to get better, so it was the decent thing to do to end his suffering. it's cold out there in the world right now...think about giving another kitty a nice home

I feel you OP. My 4 year old cat came down with cancer in his intestine and we had to put him down in December. I hate cats in general but he was a good one.

Thanks brah, that's what I keep telling myself. Still a little too early for me, but if a cold hungry kitten walked up to my door I probably wouldn't be able to turn it away lol
