Media bias getting out of hand...

I saw this quote in another thread, and it sums up my problem with every form of media right now:

Gab is an American alt-tech social networking service known for its far-right and extremist userbase.[3][4][5][6] Widely described as a haven for extremists including neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and the alt-right, it has attracted users and groups who have been banned from other social networks.[7][8][18] Gab claims to promote free speech and individual liberty, though these statements have been criticized as being a shield for its alt-right and extremist ecosystem.[16][19][20] Antisemitism is prominent among the site's content, and the company itself has engaged in antisemitic commentary on Twitter.[22][23][24] Researchers have written that Gab has been "repeatedly linked to radicalization leading to real-world violent events".[25]
This reads how a leftist schithole rag/news station/radio program describes anything it doesn't like.

Does the ACLU "claim" to defend the civil liberties of it's clients? Does the NAACP "claim" to work for the interests of African Americans? This is a nice black and white example if what I've been noticing for months. Regular media outlets like the local news and supposedly impartial NPR (yes, yes, I know...) are framing everything FOR viewers/readers/listeners as if they are editorializing. It's bonkers and I just can't believe more people aren't talking about it. In the past there was at least a veneer of neutrality. Now anything a right leaning politician says is given a seemingly innocuous qualifier like "Marco Rubio *claims* bla bla bla..." injecting doubt in a subtle way. I listened to the House Resolution in invoking 25th amendment on NPR and every fukking time after a Republican spoke they just HAD to clarify that there was in fact no voter fraud, that Trump in fact DID invite a riot, etc....over and over.

It's everywhere. I know this is a wikipedia entry and subject to editing from retard SJWs, but this is exactly how the news is spewing chit right now. Injecting bias, injecting select facts that are totally irrelevant, and demonizing anything they dislike. I'm not a conspiracy theorist or a hyper partisan, or even a partisan in general. I've voted dem in the past and consider myself a right leaning independent.

Is there anything impartial left? Just the facts? I want to stay up to date and somewhat aware of the world. I just don't want some liberal arts nerd telling me what to believe. They used to respect their audience, I guess now they figured they could just steamroll people into going along. Just the facts.
Virtue is its own reward.

Ordo Ad Chao

Build resentment on both sides...

Playing on the emotions of soft SJW *******s and supporting/backing only their views, while pissing off everyone else by— not just leaving them alone— but by labeling them as deplorable, feral, radical, extreme, and then, sexist, racist, now we are entering the realm of: treasonous, traitorous, seditious, etc

How this isn’t obvious to everyone is pretty scary

This.

Also, it only makes sense that when you ban a certain demographic from all mainstream social media platforms, that competing platforms will have a larger percentage of that demographic. If you banned all white people from Twitter, they'd go to Gab."Gab is too white, and that's a problem!"

A lot of pages can only be edited by their approved accounts also. You don't think these special people protect their own?

It's not bias. This is the thing you guys don't seem to get. When people express outrage at ultranationalist, xenophobic, and nonfactual/antiscientific bs rhetoric, there shouldn't be this kind of false equivalence of both sides. It's like how creationists argue that they should teach "both sides" in school. There is no other side. There is science and then there is some bullchit people are making up. There is no equivalence between truth and falsehood. It's not like you should give some guy saying 2+2=5 equal time. It's a dumb fallacy to assume the media ought to remain unbiased and apolitical in an extreme situation like this. In fact, anyone who remains apolitical at this point is either willingly in denial or complicit. There really is no room for debating the truth here. If Donald Trump had evidence of fraud, he should have presented it in one of the 60 court cases he brought. If he knew better than the PhD/MD scientists advising him on covid, he should have submitted his independent research for review and gotten it published. The simple truth is that he is a moron. You do not need to give a moron equal time and coverage. The media has been exceptionally fair to this nutjob. It's a travesty that we call him a president. He is the most incompetent human to ever serve as a president. If people are biased against him, they should be. If people hate him, they should. He is a useless son of a bitch who needs to be removed from power immediately.

The ACLU has represented kkk members and nio nazis in the past.

Strange how things change and constitutional protections only favor one side these days.

It’s only a matter of time.

Maybe because they do not want a repeat of past events. I agree there is bias against whites rn in the media. And unlike Trump's coverage, this is not really warranted. They do treat blacks with kid gloves mainly because there are a lot of nutjob white people just looking for an excuse to go lynching. If you've spent more than 5 mins on this forum, you've probably met some of them.

That version of the ACLU is long gone. The lawyers who understood the value of protecting the civil liberties of any American all retired & died off. ACLU is just another offshoot of the democrat/liberal groupthink now.

Media bias first got out of hand in 2007 when they began fawning over Obama. Up to that point, any non-idiot understood there was an undercurrent of pro-democrat/anti-republican bias in the media, but it was subtle and not so nakedly evident. When Trump came along they all lost their minds and ramped it up to 11. For me, the peak will always be a Trump covid news conference back around April or May of this year. Remember when he used to host daily briefings on the virus? So on this one particular briefing, he had the surgeon general give an update on preventative measures. The surgeon general is black and a navy vice admiral, incidentally. So he mentions the need to call your "auntie" and other family members and tell them to maintain 6ft distance (this may have been the first time we were told to do 6ft social distancing). During the SG's questions segment, this fat, troll-like beast from PBS or NPR smacks her lips and says, "Are you aware that people on twitter are offended by your terms for family members?"

At the time we still didn't know much about the virus and were looking for solutions, responses etc from these gov officials. And this "journalist" took up air time to attempt a phony racism narrative. That's the priorities of the media.

Bold is basically what's happening against whites due to the media bias. Even going so far as recording and posting it online since it gets positive reactions due to this inaccurate picture of reality that the media has painted. Of all 4 combinations of white/black, white on black crime is and has been the least likely for a long time.

The entire leftist worldview is based on a series of lies, which they believe because they saw them on television and heard celebrities tweet about them. They can never argue in good faith, because accepting the facts would bring down the entire structure and force them to rebuild their philosophy. This is why they seem so insane and dishonest - it's a form of self preservation.
