If Conor McGregor was born in the U.S he would be a monster drinking tradie

Just watched his documentary. He was living off welfare for years in his parents home while he trained. If this was the U.S he woulda been out at 18 and forced to find some 60 hour a week job, prolly woulda went the tradie route. No time/energy left to train at anything resembling a competitive level. Just lol @ the land of opportunity.

I think it used to be the land of oppertunity, USa was **** rich back in the the days. Petro dollar has come to a fall.

Don't know mane. It was probably really hard getting noticed out of ireland and to seek training there.

Over there the main training of MMA is called a PUB.

Yeah, in an interview he mentioned hating the long drives to and from the worksite, the nature of the job and the tradies he worked with. Quit and then got in some spats with his father over not returning.
