a) somehow motivate them to take actions that would have adverse consequences for them as an individual
b) try to maintain secrecy and prevent deliberate or accidental disclosures
c) somehow prevent infiltrators

The line between reality and 'conspiracy theory' has become so blurred that the term has been rendered meaningless

It may be different in kangarooland but over here in the states the term "conspiracy theory" is used so liberally it literally means anything that the other side doesn't agree with even when there is evidence that it really happened.

I mean those ones that require widespread mobilisation of large numbers of decentralised people to execute relatively complex tasks with no leaks or counter-conspiracies

The thing I'd that most conspiracy theories aren't usually caused by "conspiracies", meaning people conspiring in secret to execute some plan. It's more that they have a hive mind that let's them know how to act in unison. They don't need to communicate with each other directly in order to know what to do, they just use their ideology as a compass to know what "should be done" about something.

When you look at our current western elites, they all have the same belief system. They know exactly what the plan is to an extent without even needing to tell each other. For example, NYT doesn't need to phone CNN to make sure they're on the same page about BLM. They both knew that the consensus surrounding it would be that it was good because "black people are oppressed" is central to their ideology. There is no conscious, rational, grand plan at work. They are literally insane, but their insanity enables them work together to an incredible degree.

Rich people act and vote in a way that keeps themselves getting richer, often at the expense of poor people, and buy influence at a political level to reinforce the status quo

There are plenty of conspiracies I believe (steel fuel can't melt jet beams/sandy hook/aurora brain washing....to name a few) but the latest theories just don't have enough strong evidence.

These neo conspiracies are too circumstantial. Maybe Big Brother has caught on and is working counter psy-ops (very likely) or the soy is working and ppl are throwing retarded accusations out to see what sticks (even more likely)
