Any Miscers successful with a Kinesiology Degree?

Trying to decide between studying kin or compsci. Compsci obviously has more utility and is very lucrative but it seems boring as chit.

Not very interested in getting totally fuked in the ass with un-payable student loans for the rest of my life though.

All the ones I knew became Firefighters or went to PA school after.

I don't think it'd be wise to stop at getting a BA in Kinesiology, you have to know what to do next.

Don’t do Kines unless you are willing to spend the money to become a PT or PA through Grad school, which is the same cost nowadays but done virtually.

CompSci is better IMO.

You can still pursue your interest in fitness on your own time. Don’t try to make a career out of it, unless you want a long and unrewarding road in Healthcare. That is, unless you’re willing to subject yourself to a role in management and start on that track, boyo.

I am interested in becoming a firefighter or paramedic, which the degree would mostly look good rather than anything else I imagine. Jobs are more scarce too, in Canada it's relatively stringent and timely process to becoming either afaik. Was going to undergrad for a bachelor of science not arts, though that mostly leaves avenues for physical therapy (not too interested) or further schooling in a different field like law, so possibly helpful.

I agree compsci is a far better choice. Just not sure if I would actually like it enough (have to to get through all the maths chit) or want to be in a computer career field. But it does have strong job security and opportunity to branch into something after with enough funding ig.

Edit: as for health care that's something in the back of my mind too.

My man. If you want to make money, you can’t do it as a firefighter or EMT unless you become an administrator. And that’s a whole other thing.

Kin's a good premed/dent/pt degree - waste of time otherwise
