Hateful 8 is underrated

Loved it way more on a second viewing. Tarantino is the GOAT at building suspense out of long, long dialogue.

One of my favorite movies of the 2010s. But you posted the only bad part of the entire movie. The 'big black johnson' monologue was pretty weak.

I enjoyed it more than Once Upon A Time despite that. The plot just kept me hooked especially at the poisoned coffee part onwards

The whole point of that scene was to provoke the racist old man into essentially killing himself via self defence. Funny thing is the old man is the only guy in the place that wasn't part of the set up

Lol, you love Tarantino yet hate the most common qualities of a Tarantino film (excluding the primarily one setting).

One room settings can be amazing, and some of the most acclaimed movies/books take place in one setting. The movie was a Western take on old murder mysteries where the characters are locked in together, like a castle. This creates a chit ton of suspense.

Critics and fans in general put it near the bottom of his catalog of films. Really an exposure of the attention span of your average moviegoer now (like frezKo up there). It's a very good film.
