Nothing makes you feel better than smugly quitting a toxic work place without notice, and then just ghosting everyone, especially if you do it around the Holidays or Summer when a lot of people have requested a week off, leaving them short handed.

In 2008, I was working at a crap TV station with a bunch of 'tards.

One time I had three things to accomplish, and one douche did one of my jobs behind my back while I was working on a different project, then told the boss I didn't do my job, so he had to do it for me, and the boss was dumb enough to believe that and tried to write me up for it. I tried to explain I would have gotten to it next, after I finished my current project, but he was too proud to admit he was wrong.

I just didn't sign the write-up, and he said it didn't matter, so I just never came back. I had to move back in with my Mommy for awhile, but I'm still glad I didnlt put up with that crap.


In 2011, I worked with all these Feminist man-haters management who would be disrespectful and passive aggressive every change they got. One time an on air mistake happed that was part my fault and part productions fault, so I wrote it up as such on the QC report. (They were supposed to produce a 'just in time' Weather update and we both forgot about it.)

The Harpy manager changed it on the QC report to being all my fault without even discussing it with me first. She told me after she changed it and submitted the QC report to management.

I waited about a week in the summer until two of the lesbian managers were on vacation and sent an e-mail to HR that I was resigning, then never answered the phone when they kept calling.

I ended up living on credit cards for awhile, then defaulting on them all, but it was worth it.

When your job gets anything in writing, they do so in case they need to use it against you later if they decide to let you go, and don't want to pay unemployment or lose a lawsuit, so any time you are ever written up for any reason, or a 'Performance Improvement Plan' or on any kind of discrepancy report, even if it's legit and you suck, you may as well bail on your terms without notice. Just make sure you return anything that is company property so they won't have an excuse to withhold your last paycheck.
