Ive lost 33IBS in 1 month but lacking motivation...
to take it to the next level.
For one month straight, ive been eating one protein meal a day and incorporating 2 mile runs. Did that since 11th December of 2020. Benn just over a month. Ive hit my goal weight but there is still some belly fat that needs burning.
The only way is to do HIIT and im phucking dreading it.
1 mile sprint (8 minute mile) + 10 minute skips + 5 sets of push ups. Everyday for 2 weeks from today. Keeping the diet the same.
But phuarrkkkk I know this is gna burn and I cant be asked.
Wat do misc?

probably not crash diet because all you are realling doing is burning glycogen, staying depleted, and losing muscle, and maybe a tiny bit of fat.
Best thing to do is eat tons of lean protein, slowly reduce carbs, and have enough fats for hormone production.

I needed to lose weight drastically though and I saw no other way. Having said that, I am rearing towards what you have mentioned. A high protein with enought fats.
Just done my HIIT with my record mile run. 8 mins 45 secs. Mirin myself atm although i know these are rookie numbers. lol

The idea is that if I make my workouts more intense, itll target my fat reserves and help me lose that fat without losing too much muscle.

my vote is to keep doing what you're doing srs
the muscle will come back and everyone has a higher number of lbs they gotta lose than they think

The idea was always to start lifting after achieving target weight but the gyms are still closed so im opting for this now.

it means you are still having protein throughout the day but just protein to preserve muscle. One protein meal is NOT PSMF its like PSMF accompanied with a massive IF crash diet.
PSMF should be dropping calories below maintenance and making all of them be protein, not having 400 calories a day total.
It is like Keto minus the fat, you can still eat a **** load of lean protein, I mean having 300g protein a day is only 1200 calories. That is still a major deficit especially on no fat and no carbs. I am sure you werent eating 300g protein in 1 "protein meal"

I dont call it PSMF ive only heard people call my diet PSMF. Didnt have a clue otherwise. My main purpose was to lose weight so first thing that came to mind was to reduce as much calorie intake as possible.
ALthough its helped to reduce my weight, im still dissatisfied as I still have belly fat and love handles albeit much smaller.

I did have a cheat day. On that day though, I didnt eat dirty as such, but ate carbs with 3-4 meals through out the day. A carb refeed.

even 500-600 calories a day is pretty severe. There had to be some snacking going on that made it more than that. I mean tiny little bikini women in the most dieting phase eat 1200 calories a day and shrink to like 100lbs and are very unhealthy.
its just not adding up

4 days im at work (i stay over) and my wife packs food for me. 1 meal for each day. Of that meal, there are kebabs/chicken roast/well seasoned fish. Shed also give me a big box of salad that id add in with my meats. Not much though. Now if I had a kebabs, id have maybe 4-5 per meal. If I had chicken id prob have half a chicken a meal (maybe just less.) id top coleslaw/hummus with the meal. Now, i would have an orange before or after the 2 mile run with a handful of nuts.
This would be my meal for 4 days.
2 days, I come home for the day (and then return to work in the evening- night shifts.) When I return my wife would make me omelette with kebabs (2) and heinz beans. Before I left for work on that day, shed prob fix some chicken roast.
This would be the meal for 2 days.
On the 7th day, id have a carb refeed. IMO id prob go above 3k calories on this day.

Personally, I didnt notice my energy levels drop. I prob felt it in the first week, but not after that. Heck I did 2 miles on an empty stomach most of the times and my timings only improved.
Having said that, I did have a cheat day which I looked forward to and which motivated me to keep going.

so basically you are having fat meals and not just protein meals because kebabs and half a chicken is actually a LOT of fat, like 30g area
then you have a handfull of nuts so more fat
and then an orange so carbs
and hummus so more fat
basically its like keto without being in ketosis, being in starvation mode from so low of calories, and undereating protein because you should be having at least .7g/lb bodyweight MINIMUM, honeslty i would say 1-1.5 in a super low calorie diet.
Its about as bad as you can get without being on something like the chocolate diet. You are just eating low calories but in a very suboptimal way.

Why would you do this instead of looking at the resources on the website you've been a member of for at least 7.5 years and following a weight loss plan involving a reasonable deficit and some ballpark daily macro targets?
