does anyone really miss watching sports at a bar?

it was those casual once a week nights at the bar I really miss the most srs. Would catch the Leafs at my local watering hole a couple times a month, pound a couple brews with the lads, check out the days' slampig roster, maybe smash a quick burger afterwards. It was the best, man

Absolutely. You and a couple of buds watching the game knocking back some ice cold draught beer.

Probably make some friends with a random group cheering for the same team

Yeah man, the whole room cheering at the same time when your team scores. good vibes all around. all the rocket servers even getting into the game - when they turned to watch the TV you checked out their ass

when i was in florida for a bit i used to love going to twinpeaks to watch the football or ufc it was great fun now back here in scotland a wouldent do it even pre covid have tried but doesint have the same feel as a us bar

I miss karaoke nights @ game nights more. The whole place would interact and people would get to know one another. When covid hit, and before the lockdowns, our local pub was still trying to keep them going, Lysol wiping mics and whatnot after anyone sang. It didn’t last long.
