Just had to have my pet put down

I adopted an adult ferret as a rescue almost 2 years ago. Late last year his condition became terribly obvious, and I spent the money to have an injection implant given to him. He made a nice recovery, gained nearly all his fur back, save for where he couldn't stop nibbling. Well, it caught up to him the past few weeks. Took him in last night, he had a blast for a few hours being perked up. Today he had nothing left. I just got back and I broke down so hard. So well behaved, litter trained, attentive, and of course fun.
FML I don't need this chit right now. FML

he is cute, I thought bout getting one of them. sucks but at least you gave him a good life and have good memories with him. take some time then later down the line maybe you could get another ferrets or pet

Putting a pet down is hard AF. had to put my 18 yr old black lab down. Oof.

Got her like 20$ of Mcdonalds dollar menu **** the night before and gave her a feast while I fukin cried like a little bitch. Got her when I was 9 years old. Still remember sleeping on the kitchen floor with her the first 2 weeks while she potty trained.


Speaking of Ferrets. One of my childhood friends had a Ferret as a pet he used to let run around his bedroom. Was hanging out with him one day and i hopped up off his couch onto a shirt on the floor... squash/crunch. Horrible experience for everyone around i reckon. He was crying, and his dad just politely told me I should probably go home. Felt fuking terrible and to this day I'm always slightly scared around tiny animals that are running around.

Yeah I know the pain, Last night a hoglet that was under our care froze to death in the night, Poor guy, Was either abandoned or lost by their mother or she died. Poor guy, Ive moved the other one that it was found with inside, But I dont think It will last much longer as We lack the right milk to feed it with, Which needs to be done every hour, Right now its just crushed up cat biscuits and water from a pipet thingie
