Does anyone else hate or cringe at blood tests?

Getting a physical exam this week, want to make sure I am good, but does anyone else hate/cringe at blood tests? I know it's not painful, but I always hate it when I think about it.

Nope.

I want to empathize and say how I understand that it could be nerve wrecking to certain people. That wouldn’t be completely a lie. But mostly you just a bitch.

Yes they make me nervous but not extremely nervous.

Donating plasma helped me get over my fear of needles. They use such a big needle to get you out of there quick. I probably still have track marks from that ****.

Yes, OP is a bitch. What a soy thread.
All it takes is Mookie Betts, Steph Curry, and Joe Burrow all sitting in the same car in order for one drunk driver to make the world a significantly better place.

Yea that is what I do when it takes place. It's mainly when I think about it that makes me cringe/hate it lol.

Like someone else said, if anything the results I could see being something to be nervous over.

Getting a shot/blood drawn is a walk in the park compared to other things I’ve had. Just gotta suck it up buttercup and appreciate it’s not something worse.

Nope. Had to have IV fluids going through me for 2 weeks, almost a month...I forget. But I was in the hospital for a while with a big needle stuck in my hand 24/7 with antibiotics or whatever it was to fight what was happening within me. When they finally let me out, they stuck a picc line (tube) in my left upper arm and shoved it in till the end of the tube was @ my heart and I had to self administer the IV fluids twice a day for a month. Now that sucked. Hated looking down at my hand when I was in the hospital and seeing a big ass needle sticking in it. Hated seeing the picc line in my arm.

i always ask the phlebotomist if they've had anyone pass out recently and they get nervous and ask if that happens to me, and i say something vague like, "i don't think so," then i sit there staring at the jab point lol

Due to medical issues I have to have regular blood tests, well less regularly now days than I used to have to get them. They never used to bother me.

Weirdly after about the 50th time of having one I randomly passed out. Ever since then I’ve been a little nervous of them (just in case I randomly pass out again).
