The hardest part about quitting alcohol..

It's not the buzz, not the loss of time, nor the other various coping mechanisms behind alcoholism

It's the sudden loss of social fluidity that comes after a few drinks if ur an introverted individual

I'm pretty certain that's one of the main causes of alcoholism srs

can confirm. i quit drinking socially 2006 and havent had a social circle other than my wife and family

Imo its the boredom, and being forced to confront your thoughts. I can speak to people just as easily sober.
