Absolutely if this was before January 20th! The common cold, flu and allergies were nonexistent until January 20th. Now you can only catch COVID once.

just started getting about 5% smell back, cant taste chit but can sense sour/hot/sweet

for new years i chugged a glass of whisky, probably 5-6 shots for fun, it burned a little but was super easy with no taste

chugged a shaker full of wine and it tasted like water

It’s trippy.
I couldn’t smell my coffee this morning. Sucks that it might take a while for it to come back though

My mom had it like 3-4 months ago and still hasn't recovered her taste/smell. This is probably the worst part about COVID lol.

Fukk I must be one of the lucky ones. I would say at least 50% of my smell was back after 7-10 days. Almost 3 months out now and I still think I’m only 95% back on smell. Taste seems fine tho

watchout your vitamins bro, srs. Took me like a month to get my smell 100% back.

I also had problems getting erections for like 2 months after recovering. Turns out I was borderly anemic and depleted of vitamins, took a multi and after a week I was cutting diamonds again. So my advice is take a multi after recovery and get lots of sleep. Those 2 months WERE NOT FUN AT ALL srs I was borderline losing my chit while that lasted

Yes. Zinc is regularly used for taste and smell loss, and is a symptom of zinc deficiency. Doctor's advice after someone I know who had little taste and smell (and weird taste/smells for particular foods) for over a month from covid. Zinc fixed it within a week.
