Do you think we will matter once the universe ends?
Or our actions will be of any significance after that?
I don't think so.

How about do something now that will matter next week? Start there.
But just lol at not realizing time is an illusion and that every time in the universe exits all at once, and we simply travel along that dimension linearly in one direction.

No sir.
We are not the kings of the universe. We are but the kings of Earth. Perhaps other planets eventually. In an infinite space there will always be better, stronger, smarter, civilizations. The lifetime of humanity may never meet it. Or perhaps humanity will one day be crushed by it.
We may never meet a non-earth species before our extinction. We may never be known, remembered. Dying along with our own legends.
