Yes, it is still possible to contract COVID-19 after vaccine, but the chance of severe illness is dramatically diminished. In other words, you more or less guarantee yourself to be virtually asymptomatic.

This is why you don't ask the MISC. You can still get it, but it will be a much less severe reaction...same with the FLU shot... you can still get it, but it won't knock you out for a week or so.
That's why once you're in the game, you're in it for life.

People have their faces smashed into a petri dish all day as it is, now we're really debating the merits of double and even triple-masking?

We passed the moron compliance test with flying colors.

That does not apply to everyone. The vaccine dramatically reduces the risk of severe illness for people of nearly all ages and underlying conditions (assuming they're healthy enough to be vaccinated. Otherwise, they just take advantage of the herd immunity it brings). It doesn't matter that high risk people, like old folk, fatcels, and people with asthma, can still technically get COVID-19 after being vaccinated because the vaccine dramatically reduces the risk it poses to them.

Absolutely true 94% of Covid deaths are with minimum 2-3 comorbidities. That brings total death US down to 20,000. The flu kills 60-80,000 every year

No idea, I rejected my vaccination. I'll take my chances.

I'm not an anti-vaxxer, I just generally could care less.

I dont think enough time has passed for us to have enough data for accurate statistics. In the 15 years of working in a hospital I have never seen this volume of people end up in intensive care and pass away at this rate.

I was skeptical about getting the vaccine but having long term contact with these patients and being literally inches away from their faces while their breath blows all over me I went ahead and got it
