Why is every government obsessed with covid?

When its virtually harmless? The deaths are from people who are already half dead.

Trump supporter. I support Trump on most things,but not his response to covid. As an Engineer I believe in science and I believe that if he told people to wear masks and did not undermine covid, he would of easily won.

Google "Tracking covid-19 excess deaths across countries the economist"When the USA recorded 154,000 dovid deaths, there were actually 214,812 excess deaths in this country. This means that the USA is under counting covid deaths, unlike Europe

There was also an excess of over 400,000 deaths in 2020 (3.2 million vs 2.8 million in 2019) even though covid deaths were reported at 350,000 in 2019

govment is slave to the big corps

this is there only way of getting back at them. make them have to pay for all the extra costs for sanitization (guvment own medical) and tax them heavier for transporting during pandemic

At least 1/3rd of excess deaths have nothing directly to do with the virus (American Medical Association). People dying early from isolation, suicides and overdoses through the roof, people's chemotherapy postponed for months, people having serious heart attacks at home they'd normally go to the hospital for. The US had been averaging 40K additional deaths year after year average for over a decade before Covid. There should have been 2.92 million deaths in 2020 if Covid never existed. Easily verifiable facts. aka 1/3rd of excess deaths have come from lockdowns and overreactions of fear, and they were on average a lot younger than the 85 yr olds with diabetes, congestive heart failure, 60% bodyfat dying of Covid that came from nursing homes, only alive the last 5 years through a dozen serious medications a day.

Governments love COVID because it gives them an excuse to basically do whatever the fuk they want. They can use it to excuse anything. Corrupt governments use it to get more bribes. Incompetent governments use it as an excuse for their chitty infrastructure. Teachers unions are using it as a reason to give kids a terrible education and as leverage for more pay and benefits.

COVID is power for governments. They love COVID, and this is why it's still a thing after 12 months. Citizens gave government a bunch of power because of COVID and they are going to milk this power for 2-3x longer than they ever thought imaginable.

I was already planning to become an Expat, and COVID is the final straw. At this point just stacking paper until I know I can live comfortably overseas in cheap locations for the rest of my life and never have to worry about money again.

Means your body is going to fight it off quickly and you have mild or zero symptoms, with very low viral load if you do become infected, so you're unlikely to be a vector (spreader) of the virus.
