Shannon Sharpe and Fitness/Weight
This dude said something I found really interesting in one of his videos/workouts.
He said, he KNOWS that he will/can get big and have health issues if he doesn't workout like he does, he does CrossFit and spin class, or circuit training/spin daily. (I realize he's on "help" at his age) He CANT live/eat like a normal person.
The main point here is, he know's his family/genetics/body loves to put on weight/muscle easily and he eats and works around it proactively.
More people need to understand this on all sides. People who are naturally skinny simply think CICO and have no experience on the other end of things.
Everyone jokes about BBC genetics and how they don't have to do too much lifting to maintain that etc... same sort of thing. They maintain large amounts of muscle mass etc... with very minimal stimulation/work.
I just thought more people should understand that, yes you can change 100% but your experience and what works for you may be 100% different then what articles say, what trainers say etc.. etc.. etc...
Sometimes I see people just slam others with CICO, and sure.... it is... to an extent, but a strength and heavy weight training program may indeed work against this person, who would see better results cross training etc..etc..etc..
What you think is "too low calorie" or "too high" may indeed be fine for that person.
