Have you ever been in a parade with wild game in your vehicle?

25 years ago I was in an organization called the Jaycees. We decided to make a float for our cities annual Christmas parade. Deer season and Christmas parade season coincide at the same time. I had a power invertor in my Jeep Grand Cherokee, and could power several strings of Christmas lights. The Jaycee chapter built a float with a lit up Christmas tree that was powered by my Jeep that towed it.

There was a field dressed deer in the back of my Grand Cherokee. I took it to a processor after the parade to make it into summer sausage.

Nah but I seriously accidentally got stuck in a parade. I didn’t know one was going on and next thing I knew there was a float in front of me and one behind me. I was driving a dented Buick century in between 2 floats for 20 minutes until I saw an opening to get out of it. (Srs)

No but I hit and killed a deer with my car once. It ran right out in front of me. I felt really bad about it even though there was nothing I could do about it and it wasn't my fault.

You got lucky. There was a very good chance you'd be dead right now and we wouldn't be having this conversation.

I heard a statistic about the number of people killed by moose and it wasn't pretty.
